Is it ok to color your hair twice in the same day?

I colored my hair red one month ago, and this morning I colored my hair medium brown. To my surprise it didn't work. So would it be ok to color my hair the same day, or give it a couple of days before I color again?

i would wait awhile. u can really mess up ur hair doing it too often.

The hair itself is dead, so it wont affect it in the slightest. However all that bleach kills off cells in your scalp and sometimes the hair roots, you should allow the effects of the other dying a few days BEFORE you do it again. Or you may get alot of dandruff or lose your hair in the future.

your not supposed to ...but ive done it before and my hair is just fine... just make sure you dont do it too often ...danielle!
