Does hydrogen peroide really bleach hair?.....?

i am planning on mixing a little bit of hydrogen peroxide w. alot of lemon juice and water. i have dark blonde/light brown hair. it is not highlighted or dyed. I really realylly want lighter hair so that i ahve medium blonde hair!!!! please please please help me! i NEED LIGHTER HAIR WITH OUT GETIING MY HAIR DONE W. DYE!!!!

Yes but try it on the tips first so if it doesn't work the way you want you can trim it off.

yep jus use the perioxide but ull have a marylin monroe thing going tho..jus try not to use alot of the perioxide..and instead of using lemon juice..try a koolaid packet lemon flavored, it actually does work lol

No, but it will dry your hair out so bad it changes slightly before it begins to break off and split on the ends. To use peroxide and lemon juice will do far more damage than one of the multitude of products you can buy at most any pharmacy or even at Wal-Mart. If you're trying to save money, it will cost you far more to get your mess straightened out than the small amount a legitimate product will cost to do it right.

Yes, it will, or you can use Sun-In, which mixes peroxide and a couple of other ingredients like aloe so it doesn't completely strip the hair. Comb it through, use a blow dryer or sit in the sun, and you'll have blonde highlights in no time.
