omg i died my hair about a week and a half ago.

i used revlon ultra natrual blonde.. and it tured my hair orange!

my natrual hair color was light light brown dark blondish.

so i went to the store and bought revlons medium blonde hair color and died it .

i came out great. i loved it it was the perfect color.

but now its back to orange!

i dont know what happend i waited 48 hours to shampoo and everything but the medium blonde is gone and its back to orange.

i cant go and get it professionally died back because i have school tommaorw.

i was wondering if anyone has any house hold items that i can mix together to get the orange tint out??

i remember when my hair turned green i found a recipie to take it out.

but i cant find nothing about orange.!

pleasseeee someone with some sence help me!

i hate this color!

also i CANT go back to the store and get another color!

Orange hair!!!!?

well i'm suprised you can't find it considering it's really common. you can try rubbing a lemon on it because it helps with the fading of color from it's pH level. Try some shampoos that are hard on the hair, not the ones that are for color treated hair. If it still doesn't come out, you have a couple options. Get a salon fix, but those can be pricey. You can also buy another box of store-bought dye and change your haircolor to dark brown - it's in style.

I have bright blonde hair, and tried to dye my hair black.... it came out bright blue! I've been there. The lemon works. Everytime you shampoo - MAKE SURE YOU CONDITIONER! You don't want to f*ck up your hair anymore then it already is.

I suggest the dark brown color - I love it on everyone!

If you're bold enough you could also go black.

Good luck sweetie.

This might not help, but there's a product called 'Shimmer Lights'. It removes orange/bronze colors. It helped my mom A LOT.

You could try to bleach it, but DON'T do it more than once in a few weeks. Your hail will fall out =X

Orange hair!!!!?

Lots of peroxide! Try it.

It looks like you have no other option. When dying your hair a different color most of the time [stylists] will take your original color out or bleach it if it's darker than what you are dying it. You will not reach the true color you want without bleaching [don't use conventional bleach] it. It looks like this may be something you need to go to a salon for. Remember when going blonde don't go for "ash" colors because they will eventually turn out with a slightly green appearance. Best of Luck!

Orange hair!!!!?

NO U CAN'T YOUR HAIR IS GOING TO GET MESSED UP THE ONLY CHOICE YOU HAVE IS TO WAIT AND GET IT DONE IN ABOUT A WEEK OR SO MAYBE AFTER A FEW SHAMPOOS THE COLOR WILL CHANGE IT HAPPENS TO ME I DIED MY HAIR RED AND IT ALWAYS TURNS INTO ORANGE REDDDISH COLOR OR EVEN LIGHT BLONDE A MIXTURE OF DIFFERENT COLORS BUT IT DOES NOT LOOK BAD CO WORKERS COMPLIMENT MY COLOR

Orange hair!!!!?

to get rid of that orange red tones you wanna put a color in your hair with a green base color as like a ash....Dont use box color b/c if you do it contins metal salts....Depending how blonde your hair is you may need a filler to add to your hair before you color it...go to a beauty supply house and tell them what your doing and they will be able to direct you in which color you would need if you get a filled dont get the ash in the filler if you put the ash on frist it will turn your hair green.....But you may before you try all of what i tolded you is to find a toner

Orange hair!!!!?

I had this same problem. Next time buy a tube called red/gold tone is a little purple liquid you add to the coloring this prevent turning orange.
