My hair is naturally wavy buttt....?

it always looks kinda messy-ish once it dries after the shower. so i wanna make my hair look nice wthout using any chemicals or irons on my hair...does anyone have any good advice? (i have medium/long hair)

Use a good leave in product like Repair and Shine or Biosilk to smooth your hair. Then use a good mousse like Joico's Joiwhip. The store bought mousse tends to make hair even frizzier. Oh, and lastly, don't touch your hair a lot, especially before it dries.

as in chemicals do you mean products? If you don't want to use products or irons then you will get exactly what you are getting now.. if its naturally wavy put some gel/hairspray in it and go with your natural wave.. curl life by matrix is awesome.. and also anything by big sexy is great!

okay, its pretty much hard to impossible to make your hair look gorgeous without using any chemicals or flat irons. but one thing i recomend that needs minimal chemicals and no electric appliances is to simply blow and brush. first you might want to purchase either frizz-ease or pantene pro-v hair serum that you can get pretty much anywhere from target, walgreens, walmart.. then as soon as you get out of the shower:

-towel dry your hair to get excess water out.

-comb! (dont brush)

-put quarter sized amount of serum into hand and rub together quickly until hands seemed warmed up.

-apply throughout hair.

-comb throughly again/

-flip your hair over so its towards the ground

-begin to blowdry

-comb as you dry.

this is pretty much the easiest way to get shiny, strait hair without a strait iron. really hope this helped. works 4 me! :-)

I have medium/long hair that is between wavy and curly. I started using zero frizz, hair correcting serum. It is something you have to put on your hair, but it doesn't make it crunchy or stiff, and it washes out. you put it on your hair while it's still wet, just towel dried, and comb it through, then scrunch or whatever you do to enhance your waves, I turn my head upside down, and fluff it, then let it air dry. it has worked wonders for my hair. i almost gave up on anything, until i tried this. It's not that expensive and you can get it at walmart, or any drug store. If you don't use too much, you never realize you have any chemical on it at all.
