I have natural light to medium brown hair with natural highlight. It is lighter towards the font and darker towards the back. My hair gets blonde in the summer.Recently I dyed my hair blonde, and then dark brown.I am wanting to get back to my natural color a light to medium brown with some highlights. My hair pulls red and sometimes shades of green. My roots are a constant issue because they are either too dark or too light I am wanting to get back to the point that when my new roots grow in they will be the same color as my hair.I do not want to have to dye my hair annymore. Is it possible fo this to happen? If so what is th easiest way for me to get back to my natural color??
How do I get my hair back to its natural color?
i was just going to say to wait till your roots grew in a bit. and if you don't want really off roots go to your hairdresser and ask them to dye it the same colour. then when your roots grow in again itll be almost your natural colour and youll be back to normal :)
but i dont know if itll work for you:)
hope it helps

Let it grow out an inch, I know it sucks, but this way you can really see the true color. Then have it professionally colored. The products they use are way stronger and will come out truer. For about forty bucks you can be as close to your own color as possible. If there is still too much of a line when it grows in then get highlights in the crown area, not chunky, just to break up the difference.

This isen't going to be easy for you, that's for sure. I was thinking you were fine when you said that you colored it blonde...and then YIKES! You colored it dark brown. IT's so much easier to go from light to dark than it is to go dark to light! The reason for this is because no matter WHAT you do, you CANNOT lighten a color with a color. YOu NEED to bleach that color out of your hair. DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!! Not only will you lose precious time, but ALOT of money trying to do this at home and you will inevitably wind up at the salon in the end anyways.
GO to a salon and ask them to do this for you. They may recommend that you just simply put a semi-permanent color on your roots that is closest to the color on your ends and just let that end color grow out. Unless you do something drastic (I don't know how long it is, but I'm assuming that you might have long hair) like cutting it short or (God forbid) you'd have to bleach it out which, in turn, will render your hair lifeless and fried!
Go for the help, friend. Yu'll need it in this situation. Trust me on this. I've seen it too many times to tell you to just go and stick a color on your head.
Good Luck!!!
