I want to use a wash-out hair dye (L'oreal Pulse) but I'm scared!?

I really want to use this dye because out of my 3 friends I'm the only one brave enough to try it and we all want too. I have light/medium brown hair with natural highlights. I have never used anything (chemical wise) besides hairspray in my hair. I heard it works differently with different hair types. My hair is really silky smooth and is not frizzy and is very straight (naturally). I really want to know if it will stay in more than 8-10 washes (I shower everyday so that would be like a week and a half) and if it will take out my natural highlights and I want to know if my hair will turn back to its normal color. I start high school the 28th of August and I definitly want my hair to be back to normal by then and preferably in the amount of time the package says! My friends and I just want to do this for fun to see what I would look like with blonde hair (we are doing the cool blonde color). So if anyone has any answers to any of those questions please answer! I'm scared to do this!

my friend use the purple one on her hair. it said wash out after 8 - 10 washes but it took her like 30. it turned from purple to bright pink to orange. she had hair lyk that for weeks.

i used that before i did`nt like it maybe it was the type of hair i have. But you should try it it didnt hurt anything

I think you should definitely go for it! I use temporary dyes all the time, and they usually wash out rather quickly. Besides, if you don't like your hair right after you dye it, you can wash it right away. It takes a while for the dye to set and you're not supposed to wash your hair for a while after. Good luck!

Parts of your question is impossible to answer. How long your color will actually last depends on your hairs structure. I'm sure it will eventually wash out, but it will fade first. As far as your natural highlights, if they are truly natural and not sun then they should come back. If you want to make sure your hair is the exact same color by school, you really shouldn't do it. The first time I used a temporary hair color, it stayed in my hair for a good couple of months, and I wash it everyday.

I tried the.. uhh cool coffe kind or whatever and it washed out after like 3 weeks.. but idk i wash EVERY day.. soo thats prob why... and yeah =]

Even I have same kinda hair texture %26amp; colour..One of my frnd is a professional beautician %26amp; she asked me not to go for a Hair dye as no matter wat companies say there is huge amt of chemicals in those dyies which will make ur hair dry %26amp; dull....So according to me u shud not do that....if u love ur hair
