My hair is dark blonde with light blondes highlights...I'm going to take out the highlights and dye my hair medium-dark brown....I heard that once you dye it dark its hard to get back your natural color...is that true?

no it's harder when your natural hair is dark to go blond but if your natural hair is light it's easier to go back to light color

Not technically, make sure you read the box and avoid anything with red tones. The blonde highlights will not match the rest of your hair, it will turn out medium brown with light brown highlights. TIP: DO NOT buy nice %26amp; easy multi faceted hair dye. I have always swore by Clairol nice and easy with the girls in the water on the box.

No not in the least. Make sure you use a warm color, do not cool colors such as ash or you will wind up with green gray hair. if your not sure just buy a red protein base and use with your color.

i've did it before but some reason my hair always fades back to blonde!!!!!!
