I'm going to the salon in 2 hours and i have no idea what to get done with my hair. any suggestions?? I have long brown hair. Medium Thickness. and straight. I also have bangs but i already know i'm getting them side swipped but i dont know what else to do with the rest of my hair! I dont want to change the color i just want a different cut, my hairs so boring! any suggestions?

Get it cut to about 1 inch below your shoulder and get long layers. (Along with your bangs)

Try cutting your hair to your shoulders, or just below. I would suggest getting layers and angles in the front. It always gives a nice lift and style to hair.

You could also ask the hairdresser what would maybe look best with your face shape. She/he will know.

try cutting it in layers or if you want to go crazy with it try the victoria beckham or rihanna look. or else go with the jessica simpson cut.

Layers!! Every year before school I get layers and by the time school ends, they end up growing out so that I can get more when school starts in the fall again. You can always ask your stylist to thin out your hair if you don't want it thick. Good luck!

If you want to keep the length, you could get short layers toward the front, angling longer toward the back.

Or if you want to go short, one cut I've noticed a lot of people getting is hair at chin length, angling longer toward the front. I think that's how Victoria Beckham has hers right now, if you want to do an image search.
