My daughter's hair is so hard to brush through. Help?

No matter what I use on my daughter's hair it is just so tangly. She is white and has medium texture hair. I try to brush through it and 20 minutes later it is ratty again. Does anyone know of any product I can put on her hair to be able to brush through it more easily? Yes I have tried cutting it and it still is ratty. Thanks for your help!

well to straightin it out with out using any hair straightners you can use herbal essences DANGEROUSLY STRAIGHT pin straight shampoo and conditioner..and theres a spray.

I had the same problem! I use Biolage Daily leave in tonic, Matrix. It works for me fantastically. Also make sure that when your daughter puts on a coat that her hair is outside the coat collar! If your having trouble brushing her hair, hold a part of it and brush from the bottom of what your holding, i think that it doesn't hurt as much.

Did you try Johnson %26amp; Johnson's No More Tears. They have a combing spray but they also have the shampoo and other products. It would probablybe best to use the whole line. My neice is bi-racial and has super curly hair. We use this and it seems to do fine!

I had the same promblem. My mom bought me sunsilk 24/7 creme. I just put it in after my shower or after i brush my hair. A little goes a long way and if you put too much in it your hair look REALLY gross. (it is the one in the pink bottle)

I would try Johnson %26amp; Johnson No More Tangles spray- it is in the baby section. Just spray it on wet hair and it makes it easy to comb through. Also Redken makes Clear Moisture Instant Polishing Prep leave-in cutting and detangling lotion, which you can get at Ulta. I would advise against using really heavy products- look for something that specifically says detangling. Also, comb her hair out with a wide toothed comb while it is wet and blow it dry. Good Luck!

ok, i have the same issue with my boyfriends daughter. Her hair is sooo long and tangles like mad. What always works is L'oreal tearless leave in conditioner...Then you take a comb and start from the BOTTOM, very slowly. Comb the hair gently and make sure to hold hair in a ponytail fashion. After combing, then you can use the brush. This should work
