How can I get my hair back to brown?? help pleasee...?

I used to have platinum (not naturally) blonde hair.... I bleached it many times over the course of a year annd recently decided to dye it back to brown... so I decided to cut all of the dead ends off of my hair, and dye it back to brown, and start with healthy hair. so got my hair cut, and i bought some medium brown hair color and colored my hair... annd it turned black after only leaving it in for 15 minutes, while the instructions said to leave it on for 25. is there anything I can do to get the black out of my hair without bleaching it or stripping it? what's less damaging? could I perhaps dye it blonde .. would that maybe ligthen it a little? any suggestins other than bleaching, pleasee?

that happened to my sister...if you wash it alot it will fade out alot and lighten up but she frosted her hair and it lighten up alot

Your in trouble with your hair. Go see a good beautician and let them help you get it back the way it was. It's a little expensive, but it will be professionally done. Please don't bleach your hair. It's ruins it, as you have found out.

DO NOT DYE IT BLONDE! It will turn orange. First try washing it, then blow dry it and see how you like the color. Remember it will lighten. It might not be as dark as you think.

Maybe you should go to a hair salon and dye it brown. It's the best way to get hair dyed efficiently....
