Will this hair color suit me?

Hello! So, this is my current hair color:

http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj189...

It's a medium brown with some blonde-ish highlights on top. I naturally have medium brown hair, but I everytime I try to put a color on my hair- it always fades! It's terrible. I want a long-lasting, realistically manageable, hair color that looks great on me!

I'm considering this color:

http://www.imdb.com/gallery/granitz/5212...

I'm not too sure what this color would be called, but I'm curious to know if you think this color will suit me! If you have any other advice or opinions, please let me know! Be nice and pictures are muuuch appreciated. %26lt;3

Will this hair color suit me?

I think that color %26amp; highlights would look great on you! I think you have the exact same skin tone/eyes as that model and you are very pretty so you will look great! I promise.

:-)

Also, make sure you use the right shampoo and conditioner for colored hair as well as a sunscreen product so you won't get that butterscotch fade to your color.

Will this hair color suit me?

yeah sure

Will this hair color suit me?

ur really pretty and teh ahir color u have now looks really similar to that hair color so chyea noone will really notice a big difference

Will this hair color suit me?

nah leave ur hair blonde u look pretty

Will this hair color suit me?

i think it should look cute.

its a caramel kinda brown =]

Will this hair color suit me?

I think so

Will this hair color suit me?

Yes, I think that color and style looks very nice.

Will this hair color suit me?

yes it would look great, it not that a huge differences

Will this hair color suit me?

I think the color you've chosen would compliment you well! You should definately try it out. It looks like more of an ash tone, which is easy to maintain.

Will this hair color suit me?

u would look lovely in that colour

Will this hair color suit me?

I like the one you prefer much better.

Will this hair color suit me?

i think you look really nice he way you are. i dont think you should change it

Will this hair color suit me?

The only difference I see is that the one you want has some bolder and lighter blonde highlights in it...which would look wonderful on you. Go for it!

Will this hair color suit me?

wow your really pretty!

and i think that color would look really good on you!

i just died my hair that color recently, its called auburn.

put take the picture with you when you go to get it dyed!

Will this hair color suit me?

it's a nice color! your hair looks reddish-brown in the first picture. the other color looks similar with less red. it would look really good in your hair

Will this hair color suit me?

That color will look adorable!

Another color that would look good on you is on here: http://www.imdb.com/gallery/granitz/6394...

hope i helped!

Will this hair color suit me?

I believe that color will suit you but that is my personal oppinion.

I have to wonder if you are coloring your hair yourself or if you are going to a stylist to have it done... Really all I can tell you about the color fading is that it sounds like you're only using a semi-perminent color. Semi-perminent colors last about 6 weeks but fade with each shampoo. Perminent colors are just that, perminent. They last until the hair grows out.

Good luck.

Will this hair color suit me?

Definitley, that color is beautiful and would look AWESOME on you!

Will this hair color suit me?

I love that hair color!

I think yoiu should go with that color :)

Will this hair color suit me?

nope get grey hair...i like grannies

Will this hair color suit me?

yah

Will this hair color suit me?

sorry but no amount of color can fix the way your face looks

plastic surgery first maybe?

Will this hair color suit me?

I'm not sure what you would call this color but if you go to a professional to get it done you can describe it and they will take it from there. As for the color I think it will look great on you! And if for some reason you hate it you could just get it changed again. I kinda have this way of thinking that it's only hair and it grows out so you might as well experiment while you can, you never know what great looks you could come up with!

Will this hair color suit me?

go for it!!

Will this hair color suit me?

I think that your hair colour is WAY nicer than the other one, but I do think that you should get a hair cut. The style in the other picture is really nice and you've got the hair to do it.

That's just my opinion. I hope that I've helped.

Have a great night.

Will this hair color suit me?

I love, love, love your current hair color. It's sooo beautiful and it's bringing out your face and you are soooo beautiful! It's a shame such beauty is hidden behind your avatar. Sooo cute! And the color you have chosen is just wow! I love it too and I'm sure it'll look so magnificent and fabulous on you. Don't hesitate if you want to go for it for a change, but as I told you, your current hair is just as beautiful and does not need to be changed.

Will this hair color suit me?

i should probably start off by letting you know that i am a hairstylist!! from your pic i can tell that you have some red in your hair. whether it be auburn highlights or strawberry blonde, i can't really tell from the pic. the pic of the girl that you are wanting to achieve, you and her already have similar color tones, she just has more browns instead, and not some much of the red. all you would want to do is go back and get some mocha browns foiled in through the whole head. mocha's are brown with just a hint of red in which is what the lady in the pic has. and remember to always use a good color protectant shampoo and conditioner after having your hair colored, i particularly love using redken, and matrix. wish ya luck!!!

Hair loss?! :(?

hello.. im a 15 year old girl who HAD really thick n puffy hair. last year i went to chemically straighten it, but it didnt work as it curled back. then at the end of last year (after 7 months of the straightening) i started to lose hair enough for me to take notice of this, but not as much as now n it's really worrying T.T

i dno whether it has anything to do wif d stress im having or tying my hair 24/7 except when sleeping, or growing my hair long (after years of having medium length hair), or my eating habits (on n off diets, but not anorexic)...

please give me some advice... it'll mean a lot to me because its sad seeing my hair drop off everytime i wash it or comb it... i fear i'll get bald :(

thanks :)

Hair loss?! :(?

it could mean that your hair is getting hurt by the hot curler or just maybe you need to make a doctor appoiment for it may be a disease if your hair started sheered out of no where

Hair loss?! :(?

hair works from the inside out so start taking some:

Silicia Gel the tabs or the liquid.

Rosemary herbs

Nettle herbs.

Hair loss?! :(?

I have the same problem. Mine is related to my diet, because I am a picky eater and dont get all the nutrients I need. Try taking a mutivitamin. It helped grow my hair back, and made me feel better in general! Hope I helped and good luck!

Hair loss?! :(?

Erm go to the dococter and explain your syptomes you will probly get transferred to a specialist to see whats wrong.

Hair loss?! :(?

nope.........your gonna go bald

lol

you'd look like that guy that answered your question first........rofl

Hair loss?! :(?

Believe me, the straitening and pulling is doing it. I've got perms before and my hair started to fall out. Don't worry, it will grow back.

Hair loss?! :(?

hair goes in to different cycles.. you have a period of growth and then you have a period where your hair goes into a rest state.... if can be affected by stress.. if it is in the rest state stress can prolong the rest state ...( my 5 yr old 's hair became extremely thin about 2 yrs ago... we took her to Texas Childrens Hospital... the D.R. explained these cycles to us..The reason her hair thin so was because she was experiencing high stress due to hurricane Rita damaging our house so that we could not live in it... so her hair stayed in the rest period for an extended time from the stress and had no growth periods... Noticed a remarkable change in her hair once our life returned to normal...

However, I have extremely thick hair that is down to the middle of my back.. I do keep it pulled in ponytail most of the time.... I do lose alot of hair... daily.

I would go talk to a D.R... my daughter was sent to a dermatoligist for this... she has long thick hair again

Hair loss?! :(?

If ur dealing with falling hair i think its best if u change ur shampoo to a milder one. Also avoid using too much of conditioner cause it makes the hair roots oily and greasy making the hair to fall of easily. If u have bald patches in ur scalp that's a different thing we call that alopecia areata and the cause of this: 80% genetic (meaning hereditary) and 20% are due to stress. try to consult ur dermatologist for evaluation bec there's a big differince in the treatment of the 2.Because in the treatment of alopecia we usually do Intralesional Injection of Steroids + Minoxidil. while in cases of falling hair. We only give Hair grower shampoo for our patients and its also effective.Gudluck...I hope I answered your question.

Hair Ideas Please!?!?

So I am 14 years old...I have medium length hair, like to my shoulders or a tiny bit longer with layers. I need some new hair style ideas because I am sick of what I normally do!

my hair is a tiny bit longer than that i guess....thanks!

Also, can you tell me my face shape? Magazines always give you the best stuff for your face shape, and idk what mine is!

thanks!

Hair Ideas Please!?!?

Frizzy hair help...i have straight hair, but wavy at the bottom(swimmers hair)?

okay so i am in the chlorine water ALL THE TIME. and i try and use the best products for my hair without damaging it...i have medium-lengthed hair and when its wet, it is PERFECTLY straight...but then when i let it dry(without any product)i have layers that poof out! it just looks awkward and in the morning sometimes i don't have time to blowdry and straighten my hair and just have to wear it wet...is there any product that i can rub into my hair to keep it from frizzing and poofing out? thanks :)

Frizzy hair help...i have straight hair, but wavy at the bottom(swimmers hair)?

Buy a shower crap to prevent your hair from damaging and buy John frieda's frizz ease.

Frizzy hair help...i have straight hair, but wavy at the bottom(swimmers hair)?

Use a leave in conditioner(any brand will do)before you get in the water, and when you get out use biosilk for the frizz

Frizzy hair help...i have straight hair, but wavy at the bottom(swimmers hair)?

While it's wet use good shampo and conditioner. then put a little mouse on it comb through and it will help.

Frizzy hair help...i have straight hair, but wavy at the bottom(swimmers hair)?

organic pure jojoba oil from gnc

Frizzy hair help...i have straight hair, but wavy at the bottom(swimmers hair)?

That happens to my hair a lot - it is so annoying. I just shower with regular drugstore shampoo and conditioner. After I shower I put Pantene leave-in conditioner and Sunsilk Anti-Poof 24/7 creme. I put it into a really lose ponytail as to not dent my hair. When my hair's dry, I take it out and it's usually nice and manageable.

Homemade Hair Dye?

So i have medium brown hair and i want to dye the bottom half black or a darker brown

but the dye i bought at the store is gay and it was dryed up when i tried to pour it out of the bottle

well i'm to lazy to go return it right now

plus i only want it to last for a couple of days so i can decide if i like it or not so i'm not to mad that it didn't work (even though it was only the 2-3 week type)

does anybody know how to make somthing that will dye my hair like 2-3 shades darker for a couple of days?

I have a condition meant for dark brown hair that makes my hair a much richer brown but it would be kind of hair to only condition half of my hair and i don't think that it would make enough of a difference for me to really tell...

Homemade Hair Dye?

Okay well make really really dark coffee and let it cool then use that as hair dye.. Good luck you might need to do it a few times but I'm pretty sure it will work

Homemade Hair Dye?

Yeah, I totally agree, that's a really bad idea. In fact I think you should go take a lit match, blow out the fire, and stick the ember into your wrist, just to make sure that you never even think about doing something so stupid, ridiculous, and ignorant as trying to make your own hair dye from windex and oven cleaner.

Faster hair growth?

well basically i went to the hair dresser and i told the woman to trim my hair but she cut it short, it like 3 or 4 cm below my shoulders. I dont like it at all and my dad is pissing me off cuz he doesen't like my hair but thats not the problem. My grad is comming up at the end of june and i want long curly hair for grad what do i do to have my hair grow faster, i mean like normally fast not fast as in like in june my hair is long and curly and if that impossible then are there any cuter hairsttyles for medium/short hair. please try your best to answer and dont correct me on my grammer cuz i have had ppl correct me on my grammer rather than answersing the question if you do correct me on my grammer then i will report you unless you answer my question and correct me on my grammer lol:P thanks a lot:)

Try lush new shampoo bar, it stimulates hair growth and I am quite happy with the results. Check the source for more information and my review.

Faster hair growth?

oil it up ever weekend dear! and have lots of veggies in ur diet. spcially amla! it works wonders.

Faster hair growth?

Use hair oil every 3 days a week

Faster hair growth?

In my opinion, the hair to be grow is not that very quick.it takes a little bit of time.Because for me as example, when i cut my hair today in a month also it grows at least a inch.and for that b-4 i go to bed at night i use to brush for at least 1-2 hours.it helps a lot,as i had read to your question ?we had a similar problem.i had very long hair till my waist line, then when i went to the party,i saw girl with a very nice hair ,they call it layer style, then the next day i made an appointment to copy that style, and she didn't done a good job,it took about a year for me again to grow it back where it was b-4. hope you like my answere!!!!

Faster hair growth?

How are you graduating with such horrible grammar?

you can always try hair extensions if nothing else works.

Hair Color Help Please!!!!??????

OK so I wanted to get some blonde highlights on my medium brown hair for spring. I always feel better when I highlight my hair. I also always do it myself and it always looks good. HOWEVER, this time it came out like an orangish color. So I did it over and now I have blonde on top, reddish in the middle and brown at the ends!!! LOL!!!!! I look like a calico cat. I can't afford a pricey salon color so I am thinking of just getting an all over color. If I do it a light brown or a medium brown then I will still have lightness throughout right? I really do want some highlights as my hair is also thin and fine and the blonde helps to give it definition. Any color suggestions out there? LOL...right now I am loving hats!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hair Color Help Please!!!!??????

use an ash brown on the orange rings only . the reason your hair came out the way it did is there is color from before on it . or you didn't let it lift enough . You get what you pay for when you do it yourself . Honestly ! Go to a cosmetology school and the costs is reasonable . If you use ash only on the orange areas it will neutralize it and the brown will come out normal . Good luck

Hair Color Help Please!!!!??????

next time maybe you should go to a salon for your highlights.

%26amp; go to a beauty school if there is one around you. You can get your hair colored for about $10. They know what they're doing there.

i do not think you should put box color over your box color highlights.. bad plan.

Hair Color Help Please!!!!??????

Avoid hair color in a box. Get a price list from different salons or go on the internet. Find the price you can pay for your hi-lights at the salon of your choice. Talk to a few stylists and trust your vibes. Good luck to you.

Hair colour?

Im thinkin of colouring my hair at the hairdressers, but dont want it to go wrong.

I currently have medium length hair and it is coloured dark brown which fades after several washes.

I need something sophisticated that i wont feel silly with and also look silly with. My natural colour is brown but i want a change . I would like to stick to brown colours can someone please advise me to what colours may be best. Also picks please.

Hair colour?

Why not try highlights? I don't mean like a drastic blonde type thing. But just little comb ins of bleach left on a few seconds to a min. max. It's very natural looking and brightens the color up w/o looking dyed or bleached. Better yet when it starts to grow out I can just use a regular dye of my natural color. Since both won't dye at the same rate of speed (natural hair dyes slower) you end up with the natural color being the highlight. It's a really neat effect.

I do a few spots and take cool water on a wash cloth to wipe it off so the chemical reaction stops. That way I don't have to rush. Then when done I wash, rinse %26amp; condition.

Hair colour?

What about a kindof chestnut- Then get some shine enhancing colour shampoo to keep the colour looking sleek and sophisticated!

Hair colour?

color it a medium brown with some tiny blonde high lights, so it looks natural.

Hair colour?

I recently colored my hair "truffle" which is a dark brown with some red in it, I love it and have no regrets! Try that or go with black, I love black hair

Hair colour?

How about deep brown with a redish tint, i think that looks so pretty.....And sophisticated

Hair colour?

If you have blue eyes you should go for lighter brown/blonde highlights so it looks more 'sunkissed'.

If your eyes are brown go for a chocolate brown hair colour which should compliment your eyes. You could go for red or blonde highlights as well (make sure they look natural though).

If you have green eyes getting a hint of red added to your hair would be nice (make sure it doesnt go too red or ginger).

Hair colour?

Go for highlights at the hairdressers....it gives a natural effect..but yet looks totally different...

Hair colour?

BROWN WITH HIGHLIGHT'S

Hair colour?

why don't you try some semi-perminant colours before you go for the kill, semi-perminant ones actually revitallise your hair so when you go to re-dye it it will be in great condition!

Good Luck

Hair colour?

I recommend having some long layers put in, and some warm highlights - reds, light browns and some goldens/caramels. Avoid bright blondes.

I have read numerous times in magazines and my hairdresser advised me that for dark brown go for reds and caramels. So, I went for copper and a caramel and I gotlong layers.

http://www.beautyriot.com/

http://www.ukhairdressers.com/

http://2coolhairstyles.com/

Look in magazines too.

Hair colour?

Try a nice dark auburn (i know it's red but it's a a very sophisticated color)

Though if you don't want that color than maybe instead of going dark brown you could have your hair dyed one or two shades lighter.

Hair colour?

redhair is tops.

Go for a nice hazelnutty auburn.

Hair colour?

if your hair is brown and you would like to stick to brown then where is the "change" occuring? do you want a different SHADE of brown? if so i can't really help you as you didn't state what shade of brown you currently are but here is a swatch list from miss clairol: http://www.clairolprofessional.com/dispe... maybe you should consider darkening it to a 48D sable brown, because if you want to go lighter then it will involve first colour removing, then bleaching then putting a lighter brown colour over as "colour will not lighten colour"

Hair colour?

Make sure you use a hairdresser with a good reputaion who you have had a personal recommendation for. Arrange to meet them before your appointment to discuss the options and what would look best. They are the experts.

Hair colour?

coffee brown by clairol

Hair colour?

get some blonde strips underneath, theyre in fashion at the mo and u can hide them if u want

Hair colour?

try dark blonde with lots of highlights in different shades of blonde.

Hair colour?

Why not highlights, they look natural and it will be a change (:

Any Hair Highlighting Ideas??

I have medium brown hair, my skin is fair-medium, a square/oval face, and brown eyes. I was wondering if anyone had any suggesstions for hairstyles and coloring/highlighting ideas. My hair is naturally curly and about medium/long, but I also straighten it. If you have any ideas.. pics are great also!

Thanks!

Any Hair Highlighting Ideas??

Hey. I have lots of ideas for you. I would go maybe a level darker, or keep the level of darkness to your hair now, and add highlights. I would suggest caramel highlights if it is your first time because they look good on anyone. You could do the lightest caramel if you think you will look good as a blonde. If you are not sure, you can do a darker caramel. I wouldn't do a lot of light caramel if you have cool skin tones cause it may wash you out. An all over color is cool too if that is a look you are going for. I am also a medium brown and right now, doing a light brown solid color sounds intriguing to me. To do this one can get a box dye in shade called dark blonde. If it is your first color, two boxes are usually required in order to cover every strand. Hair also lightens after every shampoo. Brands like Ultress, and garnier tend to dye dark, so do not leave on for the full length of time. All in all, I would not recommend a Hi-lift series like feria has, it is very strong and, not naturally looking nor necessary. If this does not meet your satisfaction, THEN you can always have your hair adjusted accordingly at the salon. But if you decide to do highlighting, ONLY go to the salon. It is not worth the hassle of doing it yourself seldomly turn out successful. Have fun.

Any Hair Highlighting Ideas??

Long layers. Face frame starting at chin length. Long sideswept bang. Highlights should be a caramel/honey color and if you want multiple colors, possibly a redish highlight also. Only highlight the top layer and along your face so the bottom colors remain natural.

Any Hair Highlighting Ideas??

well DONT cut ur hair short.. cuz this chik- claire sounds just like u and she cut it short and it doesnt look that great=/

About dying hair?

Im looking for a way to color my hair other than buying the hair dye. I have hear poeple use peroxide to lighten it but there might be some way. I have medium brown hair

About dying hair?

You will get orange/red tones from peroxide and it will take a while, if that is what you are looking for. You can also use lemon juice.

About dying hair?

take clorox and dilute it a lil bit with water, apply to hair, then go in the sun and it'll lighten it

About dying hair?

well it depends on what color you want if you want it really light like blond bleach it with hair bleach then put blond hair dye in it.

About dying hair?

you can dye it withh koolaid

http://mdmd.essortment.com/koolaiddyehai...

About dying hair?

you can get a semiperminant hair color to try on, and it washes out in a few washes. as far as putting anything else in it, if you want to lighten medium brown hair, you should use store bought stuff, if you were blonde, (i am naturally, dirty blonde, but just dyed it dark brown)

you can use lemon juice and the sun, or peroxide and the sun, like sun in, or anything that you use in the sun, you can probably use in the house with a hairdryer. i used lemon juice for years in grade school, and it lightened my blonde hair, but for brown, it will make it reddish, its not strong enough...good luck.

About dying hair?

well i would just buy the hair dye i wouldnt trust using anything else

Should I bleach my hair before I color it?

Hey, so I really want to dye my hair a dark and deep shade of red for college. I have medium brown hair and I haven't dyed my hair in over a year. I really want this color to be dramatic and as close to the color on the box as possible. As a result I have a box of Beyond Bleach White Out Kit from Hot Topic. I am wondering if I should possibly bleach it beforehand. I've heard horror stories about bleaching but I was planning to wait 14 days (as advised on the box) before moving ahead with dying my hair red. My hair is thick and pretty healthy and tolerant to dyes, which I haven't done in a long time. I have never bleached my hair however. Is there any reason I should not bleach my hair to achieve the color I want? Is my procedure relatively safe? Below are two images, one of my hair dye, and the other of my current hair to date.

http://img512.imageshack.us/img512/6420/...

Should I bleach my hair before I color it?

No, there is no need to bleach it. If you bleach your hair it will become porous and the red will not stay in. Red is the color that fades the fastest as it is,you don't want anything making that worse. Your hair will look much healthier and prettier if you just put the red color on it.

Should I bleach my hair before I color it?

no dont bleach it first....

it works just as well especially if you get good die, and garner is

Should I bleach my hair before I color it?

Bleaching it might just give you a orange or pink color. Just leave the dye in a extra long emount of time. Bleaching just makes things worse.

Should I bleach my hair before I color it?

i personally dont know i would go to a sallys store and ask them they normally have licenced hair stylist that work there and they would be able to tell you what you should do and you could buy your hair color there its normally just as cheep as wal mart or whatever and its a million times better.

Should I bleach my hair before I color it?

yeah

Long hair vs small face?

I have medium length hair (about neck length) and I want to have long hair. I never have long hair before, and my face is small. is long hair a good choice for me. my regimens are washing my hair every other day, hair mask (once a week) and hair tonic (every night). is it enough,or is there anything I should add?Thanx..

Long hair vs small face?

long hair is okay for a small face as long as you don't have your hair taking over your face, a long layered look and/ or clean and neat looking sides- not hanging in the face and definitely no 'big' do's

you regimen in fine - I have long hair and that is about all I do- I don't use gels, sprays or mousse in my hair and my hair is very healthy. As long as you keep it trimmed and keep it out of your face- it won't overwhelm or take away from your facial features.

Long hair vs small face?

i think long hair

Long hair vs small face?

You can have long hair with a small face. Just wear a hair style that is shorter in the front to keep the hair away and out of your face. Sounds like you have a pretty good grooming routine going.

Long hair vs small face?

i have a small face and i make sure i make my hair wavy, so it does not stick to my face. And it makes my face not look so small. I think you could go with long hair, just make sure it isnt sticking to your face, or it will make your face look smaller.

Long hair vs small face?

Long hair and layers..Or you could probably pull off the wavy look..

Long hair vs small face?

If you have a small face, I would recommend leaving it at medium length. (hair). If you could to go ahead and let your hair grow really long, you are going to be even sorrier when you have to wash your brushes more often.(And combs).

Hair confusion!!?

alright, so hears the deal with my hair. i straighten it and it looks nice, but i don't do that too much as so not to fry my hair [my mom and sister both have and i've seen what they've gone through to get healthy hair again]. i get out of the shower, i towel dry it, and i head band and it looks really cool and stringy but still nice. the only problem with that is that when it starts to dry that look leaves and brings in frizz. i try to scrunch my hair with mousse and anti-frizz curl life and it works but then drys and frizzes. I HATE FRIZZ. i have longer side bangs, and they look good when i swoop them. i like curls. they look good on me. i have medium long hair. i have dirty blonde hair. i was thinking of getting a perm because then i could have an everyday look. what should i do??

Hair confusion!!?

well i like it stringy too, but it will never happen, if you want, get a ceramic straughtner (AWESOME! ) they wont burn your hair NO MATTER WHAT!

Hair confusion!!?

Dont get a perm it completley fries your hair. Try using a cholesterol conditioner on it. and getting that Frizzes serum stuff..use that while your hair is wet and if you want it scrunched buy the suave level 10 gel and mousse and put it in there blow dry it with a defuser and then get aussie sprunch spray and spray it in there...may take alot....that should work...

Hope I helped =)

Hair confusion!!?

perming your hair is way way WAY worse for ur hair than straightening it. and also looks frizzier.

my hair gets frizzy after ive washed it and its dry. I straighten my hair and to stop me from getting split ends or really dry hair, i use this stuff which keeps the moisture in ur hair and stops it from drying out.

Moisture renewal shampoo is really good too if u want to iron style ur hair, or perm it, or whatever.

oh and also... if u want a stringy look, go for hairspray or mousse which is designed so youll have a "surfers look"

its really good :)

Hair confusion!!?

Well as far as the frizz goes I have the same problem when I try to straighten it so I use Sun silk anti-poof cream and it works really well.

Hair confusion!!?

Darlin,

Sounds like ur'e heading for a pood;e look....totaly not cool.

Ur'e hair sounds like it is thin...thought of a body wave?? U get the pizzaz U want from U're hair...just not the limpys.

Good Luck!!!

Hair confusion!!?

have you tried regular treatments on your hair. or home treatments like hot oil or other stuff from supermarket shelves. or if you just want regular hair without thye frizz try the perm but you may still have frizz if you don't do it regularly. best bet is to do the treatments and love your curls. that's what i learnt to do. and use good products.

How do I get my hair back to its natural color?

I have natural light to medium brown hair with natural highlight. It is lighter towards the font and darker towards the back. My hair gets blonde in the summer.Recently I dyed my hair blonde, and then dark brown.I am wanting to get back to my natural color a light to medium brown with some highlights. My hair pulls red and sometimes shades of green. My roots are a constant issue because they are either too dark or too light I am wanting to get back to the point that when my new roots grow in they will be the same color as my hair.I do not want to have to dye my hair annymore. Is it possible fo this to happen? If so what is th easiest way for me to get back to my natural color??

How do I get my hair back to its natural color?

i was just going to say to wait till your roots grew in a bit. and if you don't want really off roots go to your hairdresser and ask them to dye it the same colour. then when your roots grow in again itll be almost your natural colour and youll be back to normal :)

but i dont know if itll work for you:)

hope it helps

xx

How do I get my hair back to its natural color?

Let it grow out an inch, I know it sucks, but this way you can really see the true color. Then have it professionally colored. The products they use are way stronger and will come out truer. For about forty bucks you can be as close to your own color as possible. If there is still too much of a line when it grows in then get highlights in the crown area, not chunky, just to break up the difference.

How do I get my hair back to its natural color?

This isen't going to be easy for you, that's for sure. I was thinking you were fine when you said that you colored it blonde...and then YIKES! You colored it dark brown. IT's so much easier to go from light to dark than it is to go dark to light! The reason for this is because no matter WHAT you do, you CANNOT lighten a color with a color. YOu NEED to bleach that color out of your hair. DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!! Not only will you lose precious time, but ALOT of money trying to do this at home and you will inevitably wind up at the salon in the end anyways.

GO to a salon and ask them to do this for you. They may recommend that you just simply put a semi-permanent color on your roots that is closest to the color on your ends and just let that end color grow out. Unless you do something drastic (I don't know how long it is, but I'm assuming that you might have long hair) like cutting it short or (God forbid) you'd have to bleach it out which, in turn, will render your hair lifeless and fried!

Go for the help, friend. Yu'll need it in this situation. Trust me on this. I've seen it too many times to tell you to just go and stick a color on your head.

Good Luck!!!

Hair styling...?

ok so im a guy with medium length hair, prolly about 31/2-4inches in length...i naturally have straight hair so getting it to be puffy or have that surfer or messy look to it is hard. What is a good product that would be good for me to make my hair messy in a puffy, stylish, textury kinda way? lol. i just bought Bed head Manipulator and Redken wax, but i dont think im using it right....when i use the bed head i prolly put too much in my hair so it weighs it down?..do i just try to spread it out evenly on my hair on the very tip of my hair?...i dont like the BLow dryer puffy look so....thanx

Hair styling...?

Minimum on your fingers USE ON DRY HAIR (U GOOBER) - but you've got too much time on your hands!!!

Hair styling...?

try putting in a product that will give you volume like a moose and sleep on it at night! that will give you the cute bed head look! = )

Hair styling...?

Moose, don't use gel, it is too sticky, or hair spray,

Hair styling...?

hi busta! well yeah..men need stylish locks too, it's not just for women anymore! :) so, here's what you do, get yourself a can of extra hold mousse, get the foam kind, not the spray on.

after you get out of the shower towel dry your hair as much as you can, to get the water out. then shake the can and make a cup with your hand and put a fair amount in there. put it all over your hair down to the scalp, mix and rub your hair so you have it all over your hair. then bend over with your hair hanging towards the floor, then scrunch your hair up towards your scalp, over and over again. then slowly bring your head up. check it out in the mirror finger style it the way you want, if you want more lift, scrunch it up some more. and your ready to go...or wait until it air drys. if its still not quite what you want after it dries, then bend your head over and brush it out, lift your head and place it as you want. this is easy and fun trying new styles. wishing you happy locks! :)

Hair Henna?

Has anyone used Lush's Rouge hair henna? I did a strand test last night, and left it on for 6 hours. I have medium brown hair, and there was no change. I was wondering if maybe the shampoo rinsed it off, or if I just did it wrong.

Hair Henna?

Me and my mom, and her friends all get henna either from the 'indian store' or we get it from back home in ethiopia/eritrea and while it doesn't drastically change ur hair color it does give it a definate red tint - and our hair is blackish in color, so it definately should've shown up in ur hair. I think maybe that brand uses some sort of diluted, synthesized version of henna. also if its 'hair henna' that u bought then maybe its only function is just a strengthening and moisturizing treatment, because pure henna can be and usually is used both on hair and skin(tatoos) -its a multi-purpose dye. look around for indian or ethiopian markets and ask the people that work there for henna.

hope that helps :)

oh, and just to be sure keep the henna in ur hair over night and wash it out in the morning.

Hair Henna?

I've not used Lush's one, but I have used different brands of henna. It can come out quite subtle, but I never left it on that long before!! Maybe your hair's just too dark to take it? Sounds odd though if you left it on for 6 hrs and no change...

Does Dawn really work to remove hair dye?

ive dyed my hair three times in the last few months (i used l'oreal preference, and although it was permanent, it definitely faded)--first i wanted to lighten my light brown hair a little, then i wanted medium brown hair, but when that turned orangey i re-dyed with a lighter brown than the medium brown. although my hair color isnt that drastically different from what it was originally, its just kind of a weirdly tinted color and i want my light brown hair with natural blonde highlights back!...i dont want to dye it any more because i dont want to get into too much of a process of damaging my hair. does Dawn really work to remove/fade hair dye? if so, can you pleaseee tell me how to do this?

Does Dawn really work to remove hair dye?

No, Dawn does not remove haircolor. It will dry out your hair, though.

What you need to do is go to a salon. They'll probably put a color remover (this is not a stripper, bleach, or lightener) on your hair and then put a light brown color on it. Remember, you need a professional to do this. The color you get at the department store is not professional grade and therefore won't work as well.

Does Dawn really work to remove hair dye?

Do you know Dawn's last name???...

Does Dawn really work to remove hair dye?

i heard tide

Does Dawn really work to remove hair dye?

Sorry but the only way to fix your hair is to see a professional, and even then it will not be the same as you started with. Good luck getting it how you want it!!

Does Dawn really work to remove hair dye?

a boy at my school told me it might strip some (a little ) color maybe make u a shade lighter but no really if u messed ur hair up the only way to fix it is to go to a professional....box color over box color is no good for you hair

Does Dawn really work to remove hair dye?

DON'T do it! It would help strip the color from your hair, but not any better than a product that's made for that. It will completely strip you hair of moisture, dry it out and make it ver unmanageable. It may be expensive, but if you need to correct your haircolor you need to see a stylist. It's a really complicated process, and if you try fixing it yourself it'll just make it worse.

Does Dawn really work to remove hair dye?

hair color is one of the hardest things to do, even for a pro,, dawn will strip your already damaged hair of more oils,, I'm not a big fan of home hair color product, your a corrective color the moment you walk in a salon, its usually a bit more expensive , but that would be your best bet if you want your natural color with high lites back,,just a hint ,, you can use a dandruff shampoo a couple times to rinse out some of the color.. good luck,,

Does Dawn really work to remove hair dye?

okay, so i dont think half the people on here nkow what theyre talking about. I am in cosmotology school and yes i know for a fact it does fade color really bad im not sure about lighter colors but i know it does for darker brown. It will dry your how out horribly so i suggest using a good conditioner like Biolages Ultrahydrating Balm. Its very good for your hair..a little expensive but definitely works..You will have to go into a salon to buy it, one that carries Matrix products. I know this because I've seen plenty of mistakes..I'm in beauty school. Either way you got nothing to lose...

Hair????????

Ok how can I get my medium brown hair to look alittle bit darker/ shinier/ and richer (in color). I dont want to go crazy with hair dye and I really don't have the money to get it professionally done. Your ideas and advice are GREATLY appreciated. Thank you!

Hair????????

I use a product called Redken Outshine on my daughters hair and they are always getting compliments on their shine. It looks like lotion and I put it in towel dried hair, not dry, and it only takes a little bit and don't put it to close to the scalp or it tends to look greasy. It is cheapest at the Wal-Mart hair salons about $16.00 it last a while because it does not take much. I then just style their hair however, blow dry, air dry, braids etc.

You could also try the shampoo and conditioners that are made for Brunettes.

Hair????????

try some shampoo thats for ppl with darker hair.

Hair????????

i would put some curl serum in it, don't blow dry it and a little hairspray

Hair????????

try pantene color expressions. it works great and it adds shine. use the shampoo and the conditioner and then where a style liking curling it. it should turn out great.

Bleaching hair??!?!?

I have a naturally medium blonde hair color.

About two or three months ago I dyed my hair brown with no peroxide permanent dye.

Then about a month ago I wanted to bleach it back blonde again but they told me my hair was too damaged to bleach it so I got it dyed a reddish brown.

I want to be able to bleach my hair blonde again for the summer.

In the meantime, I want to take care of my hair so it's healthy enough to bleach. Once I bleach it, it will be blonde again so i'll stop putting dye on it for a long time.

What products/treatments would give me the best results for making my hair very healthy again?

Do you think I could get my hair healthy enough to bleach by summer?

Bleaching hair??!?!?

anything with protein

and silicone

these are the things that striped from hair when bleached

so the build up of those are amazingly good for bleaching

Bleaching hair??!?!?

yes it be ready for summer just get a cheap condittioner put on while u sleep and get a intesive treamemt and use twice a weel.... try and keep of hair irons xxxx all the best

Bleaching hair??!?!?

I think u should leave your hair the way it is because your looking sexy in the pic.

PS

Add me on your contact list

Thanks

Bleaching hair??!?!?

you can try but i don't suggest trying to bleach it for a long time. Your only option might be to get an all over highlight and just continue to do that unil you are completely blonde. You should be taking extremely good care of your hair right now meaning::

1. if you flat iron your hair you need to be using a heat protectant.

2. no more color on the ends, mid strands of your hair!

3. use professional shampoos/conditioners!-- the stuff you can buy at the grocery store or walmart/target is CRAP. it leaves a film covering your hair. gross.

4. ONLY SHAMPOO EVERY OTHER DAY.. shampooing daily can dry out your hair even more.

5. do a deep conditioning treatment once a week.

hope i;ve helped a little.

Bleaching hair??!?!?

Yeh i think you should bleach it but when you bleach it, it damages your hair even more and you have to keep bleaching it.

Permanant hair dye for brunette - need help!?

I have got naturally medium brown hair (down to my waist) but in the past I have experimented with hair dye, such as blue-black and then black...anyway, a few months ago I noticed that in the sun my hair has a reddish tinge to it, probably due to the peroxide in the hair dyes, so now I want to cover it up as it makes my hair look patchy, can anyone recommend a good hair dye for a nice deep brown colour, perhaps even Henna as that does have not peroxide in it so might not give my hair the reddish in sunlight that peroxide does? Thanks!!

Permanant hair dye for brunette - need help!?

every-bodies hair as a natural red tint to it but if you want to cover it up try Nicky Clarke's shampoo for brunette hair...

Permanant hair dye for brunette - need help!?

For permanent, I'd recommend Schwarzkopf.

They're really good.

If you don't like them try Garnier Fructis, L'Oreal, Nice n Easy.

Permanent hair color is washing out, hair stylists please answer!?

I went from a light/ medium blonde hair color to blue black. I used L'Oreal Preference box dye. It said on the box not recommended for people with very light hair. This was not the first time I've dyed my hair either but this is the first time I've dyed it this dark. The color looked wonderful for about the first week but it kept washing out every time I washed my hair. Now I'm left with a slight blue black color on top and ashy grey ends. The color on the deader parts of my hair didn't hold and the brassyness of my blonde is showing through. What is the reasoning behind this? I've been using shampoo and conditioner specifically for colored hair and the box dye was permanent. I'm baffled why the color didn't hold and it's only been 2 weeks or so. I'd like a hair stylist or someone who works in a salon to please answer this question. The only reason I can think of is some sort of chemical reaction and the "dead" hair on the ends not absorbing the color like it should.

Permanent hair color is washing out, hair stylists please answer!?

I am not a hair stylist but my best friend is. I had the same exact problem and she said you HAVE TO use shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair. Yep..I did that and it still faded out. She bought me some new stuff called "Kiwi". It locks the color in. I use the shampoo and conditioner and my color is staying in a heck of alot longer than it used too. Try it, its worth it.

Hair like zac effron?

my hair is preety short, and i want it to be like zac effrons. i have to row t out but the problem is wen my hair is like medium length its luks super gay, and i dont no of a gud way to gel it, does anyone no anyone to gel medium length hair? plus wen my hair gets longer how do i make itlike his

Hair like zac effron?

unless if u wanna look like a fag, go ahead and do ur hair like his

Hair like zac effron?

You spelled his name wrong. %26gt;.%26lt;

Hair like zac effron?

straighten your hair with a flat iron or blow-dry it straight. use anti-frizz stuff if you hair gets like that. and as far as gelling medium length hair---- put the gel in then blow dry it.

Hair like zac effron?

there is a product called Small Talk by Bed Head. You will need to buy it in a salon and it will cost you between 15-18$. It is kinda like a gel because it will dry hard but it is much easier to comb out without the hair getting flakes. By saying your hair at a medium length looks "super gay" I assume means not good. You could have just said that because the men I know who are "super gay" are the hottest and nicest men I have ever known. Another tip please use you spell check. Zac Effron? SP? knows how to spell I'm sure.

Will my hair look good?

ok so i have this color hair now : http://www.curly-hair-styles-magazine.co... this is about my color, i want 2 dye it this color : http://www.curly-hair-styles-magazine.co... would that look ok? or to much of a drastic change?

Will my hair look good?

Will my hair look good?

Will my hair look good?

Will my hair look good?

Will my hair look good?

Will my hair look good?

you've put the same pik up twice! put it in additional details and you'll get more results!

x

Will my hair look good?

is this a trick question ?? cuz the same person came up on both pictures ??? lol

Will my hair look good?

Hmmm a dramatic change indeed...hmmm i would go for the second one lol

Will my hair look good?

dear first check before posting your question like that you wont make a fool of yourself.

Questions about my hair.?

1. What is a good hairstyle for black, medium to long, and medium thickness hair?

2. How can I keep my hair straight without using gel? People say use a blow dryer, but how do I use it. When I use it my hair gets all frizzy and messy.

3. How can I prevent parts of my hair from going up when I'm sleep, because it's up in the morning after I when up?

4. Is there a way to make your hair grow faster, if so how?

Answer much as possible.

Questions about my hair.?

blow dry your hair in a downwards position holding blowdryer over your hair to keep it smooth use some gloss drops or paste using products will give you the best results

Questions about my hair.?

My hair started falling out from too many chemicals. My hairstylist told me to take prenatal vitamins to make it grow faster

Questions about my hair.?

You can get and attachment for your blow dryer that looks like a comb.. it just snaps right on and it helps straighten your hair. Then you should flat iron it, you don't need to use gel to keep it straight.

Do you sleep with a scarf or anything around your head? this will help with keeping your hair in the style you want it. Like a silk scarf or a bandana.

Prenatal vitamins help with hair growth and Nioxin shampoo %26amp; conditioner help too. Hair grows about half an inch a month for some people it can be more.

thats all i've got for ya.

Questions about my hair.?

1. i would probably say either really staright or wavy curls.

2. use a gel with silicone in it to make sure that it stays flat. when you blow dry it, make sure you point it downward. becasue when it goes up it makes your hair stay up as well.

3. this is what i do because i had the same problem especially with my bangs. get a bandana or a head scarf and wrap it around your head. it will keep your hair flat onto your head and the heat form your head will ensure that it stays that way.

4. i don't think there are ways to make your hair grow faster. i suggest trimming it often to make sure that all of it is healthy. because once the ends break it goes all the way up the strand.

Hair Help =(?

Help please!! I want my hair to look good for when I go back to school. I have light-medium brown hair. It is about 2-2 1/2 inches below my shoulders. Its straight for the most part, but gets kinda kinky and messy easily, even when I straighten it.

HELP! I want it to be longer, but that takes a while. I also want volume and nice flowy hair. What can I do???

Hair Help =(?

Use Garnier Conditioner with Aussie Shampoo. It looks awesome. Make sure to buy the volume shampoo and conditioner though.

Hair-cut for fine hair texture?

what is a hair cut that will work with fine hair texture but medium - thick hair density? i have looked on some websites but most of them seem to believe that fine hair texture goes hand in hand with thin hair density.

( i have an average amount to a lot of hair but the strands themselves are fine/thin)

thank you :)

Hair-cut for fine hair texture?

I have the exact same hair. In fact they like to all come and have to feel my hair (it's baby fine) but when I would get a perm they would get mad because they thought I had thin hair and found out that I had a lot and would have to call later appointments and reschedule.

The best hair style for me is a long bob and long layers with the hair stylist texturizing the roots. This volumizes and gives it a look of fullness. Teasing the roots also gives it volume!

Hair-cut for fine hair texture?

My hair is the same, the best cut for me is slightly layered at the back, layers around the face and a side fringe. at just below shoulder length. It makes my hair look thicker than it actually is.

What ever you do, don't let the hairdresser at you with a razor! i did last cut and it ruined the look of my hair, as the actual srtands are to fine and end up frizzing.

I want to get my hair cut. I have pics on here. Any suggestions?

This is the longest I have ever had my hair...I kinda like the length but it's too drab. I have some layers in the front framing my face but that is it. The first 2 pictures are of me and the others are potential hair candidates :) My hair is naturally wavy but I str8n it every day. What do you suggest? (keep in mind my thick long hair and round face!!) Oh and should I go a little darker like my 2nd picture?

I want to get my hair cut. I have pics on here. Any suggestions?

I really like cut number one but your hair texture seems different than the model's so it's not always going to look the same unless you put product in it. I believe someone else said #4 is lower maintenance. I agree with this because of the beautiful 'flowy' texture of your hair, it doesn't seem like you'd have to do as many things to keep with this type of style. I think your hair today looks better than what it did with the darker in it, I think the current color accentuates your facial features, including your eyes, much better and compliments your skin tone well. Your hair also looks more healthy at its current tone. It looks like your hair might be thick (could be wrong), so a stacked or layered cut will really work great in your hair. Good luck on your new cut, I need to get one myself!

I want to get my hair cut. I have pics on here. Any suggestions?

I like the 2nd and 3rd one the best! They are all cute though.

I want to get my hair cut. I have pics on here. Any suggestions?

shave it like Brittany spears =) it's a good low maintenance look

I want to get my hair cut. I have pics on here. Any suggestions?

i think you should go with #2 or #4 sorry couldn't just pick one lol

I want to get my hair cut. I have pics on here. Any suggestions?

Yeah darker defenetly looks better on you, and I like Cut#2 it looks easier to mantain

I want to get my hair cut. I have pics on here. Any suggestions?

1,3, and 4 are pretty much the same as far as the layers go....they're just styled differently. I think the #1 is styled the best. #3 looks a little flat...I dont think that would flatter you face as well as the others. The style of #4 is pretty dated but #1 and #2 are nice.

Good Luck!

I want to get my hair cut. I have pics on here. Any suggestions?

you should definitely go for #4. I love it! I should get it done myself. darker hair color suits you more.

I want to get my hair cut. I have pics on here. Any suggestions?

# 3 all the way.

and yes plz stay dark brunette, you look wonderful.

i like #2 %26amp;%26amp; # 3.

they would look gorgeous on you.

I want to get my hair cut. I have pics on here. Any suggestions?

I really like all of them and dark does look better on you. I think i like #2 and 3 the best. You could also print this out and ask the hairstyler which one they think will suit your face.

I want to get my hair cut. I have pics on here. Any suggestions?

cut#4 and go darker. Good luck with whatever you choose to do.

I want to get my hair cut. I have pics on here. Any suggestions?

I agree with tabbylyd, shave it clean bald. Judging by the pics I think it will be a great look for you. Don't let the fact you are a woman or that britney had a breakdown deter you from doing it. be bold be bald!

but you look good regardless. bald-headed would bring out your beautiful facial features more.

Hairstyles for thin hair!!?

ok i have medium brown hair not RLY RLY dark but medium light-ish. my hair is also thin and long(down to my chest) with angles. i straighten it everyday becuz it does NOT hold curl! so keep that in mind.

I was thinking about getting layers but then i realized i would be cutting off alot of hair and it would just look alot thinner. i also wanted to get angles again definately!! and i wanted to try sidebangs but i could just bursh some of my hair forward and it'll look lyk that. IDK jus t please tell me some things that you think i would look good with. and is there such thing as getting your hair made thicker? ahh idk please comment!!

Hairstyles for thin hair!!?

You could get layers and then blow dry your hair upside down every morning, that will give your hair more volume and your hair might look a little thicker. Also try using Pantene Full and Thick shampoo and conditioner.

Hairstyles for thin hair!!?

a perm

Hairstyles for thin hair!!?

actually layers, if done properly, can make hair look thicker too. if you like scene hair at all, it's PERFECT for thin hair.

Hairstyles for thin hair!!?

one of my friends has really thin hair and it is totally striaght, and i think it looks really good when she pulls it into a half-pony tail. Also, she just got layers and that looks really good on her. If you just wear like a headband or something that can also look cute.

and have u ever tried when you pin ur bangs (well, if u dont hav any bangs, jsut the hair in the middle) back with a barret or osmething, that may work

My hair is dreadfully ugly what can i do?

i have medium long hair. I have coloured it ALOT, although my natural colour is dark brown, about 2-3 weeks ago i used blondisma and burned my hair so bad i had sores on my head for days...the day after...i dyed it an amber blond or something, supposed to be a very light brown, on my hair it looks orangish/yellow/brass...i dont know what to do. I plan on fixing it ut as for now i cant afford it. So i have this huge puffy ball of orange frizz. I condition it everyday but it doesnt help at all. I figure if i had a nice hairstyle to do after i straighten it with my flat iron, it wouldnt look so bad, any ideas on a hairstyle for me? medium long straightened hair....(ps..i KNOW the damage im doing so dont mention it plz)

My hair is dreadfully ugly what can i do?

Gurl aint nothin to it i was in the same spot as you are.Okay wat you do is straighten it (of course) lol then you put a lil gel on the top of your hair and that should darken the color for a while (more natrual) then you take 2 strands from the side not to thin and not to thick braid them to where you have 2 dookie braids on each side of your head. Then pull them back loosley and put a rubber band there to hold them toghether if you can't use rubber bands then use the littlest hair tie that you have and then put a lil gel on the part that hangs down and crincle it and then gurl u should have a style that looks BOMB!! lol (GOOD LUCK)

My hair is dreadfully ugly what can i do?

Ever consider the Britney look? I'm just kidding. ; ) I would wear it back until you got money to fix it. Go to a professional. I know it costs more, but look what happened when you did it at home. Good Luck!

My hair is dreadfully ugly what can i do?

I would say to call around and find an inexpensive hair salon in your area to go and get it cut in a way that might help you out until your hair can recover from all of the coloring.

I know what it's like to do a bad color and then have to go and have it re-done again it sucks.

Good luck,

My hair is dreadfully ugly what can i do?

i reckon u should leave your for your hair dresser to sort out casue u have soo many problems wiv it. just tell them everythin u hav 2 us about the change in colour ..etc %26amp; they willl sort it out. go 2 a hairdresser which u know is good %26amp; that their products r good. it may cost alot but its worth it. my mum used 2 hav the same problem but now her hair is back 2 being a nice darkish brown, long layered hair.

goood luck!

My hair is dreadfully ugly what can i do?

It is still cold enough to wear hats.

My hair is dreadfully ugly what can i do?

several hair mask and drink lotsof water and take B viatmins, zinc and calcium. As for your hair cut shampooing to a min, why well less damage for now, let your natural oils help work on your hair, then use a hair conditioning mask and wait 2 weeks to give it time before you color it more.

Also if you want something try virgin olive oil for your ahir mask you can make at home as well if money is tight, then next time you color if you did it your self try to get what i call hippie color, it's natural no amonia thus no burns or pains, pick a color also vegtable based is good for your hair type, then try a gloss treatment aftewarsd to fake healthy hair that will last 4 week that runs 8.95 for clarol's hair gloss at CVS cheaper at wal-mart and other stores, but with this plan your hair will survive!

My hair is dreadfully ugly what can i do?

With regular conditioning which you already do, I suggest you let your hair recover a little longer.

However, you can always go and have a good haircut if you feel you are due for one or if a haircut would camouflage the accidental colouring. It might just work and it would not look so bad.

Once, you can afford it, then go to a salon to deal with your colouring. ~At least, if they get it wrong, you can go back to them %26amp; have it put right.

Good Luck!

I want my blonde hair back? can someone tell me how to do this with out killing my hair?

okay so previously, i had medium blonde hair, the top was obviously lighter from the sun and it had some highlights in it from like a way way long time ago

it november i died it a medium brown, but it faded fast

by the end of december, i touched up the roots and attempted a few little hilights in one section in my hair--it turned sort of redish around those highlights, but my ends were getting an ashy color because it was fading

the end of january i went to a salon where they threw in some actual hilights, not just one section. It lightened my hair up, but there is still some red on the top while the ends are a light brown

i am overprocessing my hair right now i know, so i am willing to wait a few more months

but should i just get another set of foils or how am i to get blonde back???

pictures of nice blonde hair would help (not platinum)

and maybe a cute cut too

I want my blonde hair back? can someone tell me how to do this with out killing my hair?

use a bleach kit that is for brown hair

I want my blonde hair back? can someone tell me how to do this with out killing my hair?

anyone dying their hair blonde should definately go to a hair professional to make sure it is done correctly and does not damage the hair

I want my blonde hair back? can someone tell me how to do this with out killing my hair?

If you hair is naturally blonde, just let it grow out. Keep it clean, and let it grow. If you need a hair piece, or even a wig for awhile, do it, but leave you hair alone.

I want my blonde hair back? can someone tell me how to do this with out killing my hair?

The next time that you go to the salon ask them to use Redken green color graphics that will cut out the red and leave nice highlights. I would probably go ahead and wait a while to let your hair have a break. Until then go to the salon ang get Redken Extreme shampoo %26amp; conditioner. I am a cosmetologist and I am using the Extreme on myself cause I have over done it myself.

I want my blonde hair back? can someone tell me how to do this with out killing my hair?

let the die naturally fade out.

I want my blonde hair back? can someone tell me how to do this with out killing my hair?

They make a solution that removes all hair dye.

It's right by all the regular hair dyes in your local stores such as walmart.

I want my blonde hair back? can someone tell me how to do this with out killing my hair?

lightning your hair at all is going to damage it. but deep conditioning treatments can help.

if your hair is overprocessed don't touch it or it is going to break off and then you will really be unhappy

(trust me happened to me)

Hair Help?!?!?

I have naturally medium brown hair. I went to get highlights done but they messed up big time. I ended up with red and blonde hair completley with no brown in sight. I tried to dye it back with brown hair dye but it didnt completly cover it i put another brown dye on about 10 min after words which turned it black. The next day I put a blonde dye on my hair to lighten it but nothing changed. Then I put another blonde on 10 min after words with still no change. A day later I found a hair dye that makes your black or brown hair 3 shades lighter than what it is. I tried it and it lightened it but not enough so 10 min later a put another box on. Now my hair is a light blackish color with soem grey in it. What should I do to get it light brown by tomorrow? I cant get it done professionaly because they said there product are to strong and my hair will fall out from so much coloring. PLEASE help me i need it light brown by tomorrow!!!!!!!!

Hair Help?!?!?

Oh my Gosh! You should have asked what to do before you went on the crazy coloring binge! Professional product is no stronger than what you would buy at Walmart. If you find a good colorist, they will be able to put it back (well, as close as it gets), but they are definately going to charge you. I'm guessing around $200. Kinda steep, but can you really put a price on looking normal by tomorrow? It's hard to say what went wrong in the first place, but if there were any metallic dyes in any of ther other products that you used, it will be impossible to put it back. You will either have to cut it off, or grow it off. So sorry dude, Hope this helps. Good luck!

Hair Help?!?!?

Sounds crazy...

By tommorow, eh?

Buy the wig well.

Hair Help?!?!?

sorry to be so blunt but I'm surprised it hasn't fallen out already. I had the same problem with my hair. whatever u do, DON'T USE ANYTHING THAT LIGHTENS YOUR HAIR for at least a month. Try some actual brown hair dye and leave it on for about 10 min. longer than your supposed to. That's probably the only chance you have. good luck to you!

Orange hair!!!!?

omg i died my hair about a week and a half ago.

i used revlon ultra natrual blonde.. and it tured my hair orange!

my natrual hair color was light light brown dark blondish.

but anyways i died it and it came out orange.

so i died it again the same color. but it didnt help at all.

so i went to the store and bought revlons medium blonde hair color and died it .

i came out great. i loved it it was the perfect color.

but now its back to orange!

i dont know what happend i waited 48 hours to shampoo and everything but the medium blonde is gone and its back to orange.

i cant go and get it professionally died back because i have school tommaorw.

i was wondering if anyone has any house hold items that i can mix together to get the orange tint out??

i remember when my hair turned green i found a recipie to take it out.

but i cant find nothing about orange.!

pleasseeee someone with some sence help me!

i hate this color!

also i CANT go back to the store and get another color!

Orange hair!!!!?

well i'm suprised you can't find it considering it's really common. you can try rubbing a lemon on it because it helps with the fading of color from it's pH level. Try some shampoos that are hard on the hair, not the ones that are for color treated hair. If it still doesn't come out, you have a couple options. Get a salon fix, but those can be pricey. You can also buy another box of store-bought dye and change your haircolor to dark brown - it's in style.

I have bright blonde hair, and tried to dye my hair black.... it came out bright blue! I've been there. The lemon works. Everytime you shampoo - MAKE SURE YOU CONDITIONER! You don't want to f*ck up your hair anymore then it already is.

I suggest the dark brown color - I love it on everyone!

If you're bold enough you could also go black.

Good luck sweetie.

Orange hair!!!!?

This might not help, but there's a product called 'Shimmer Lights'. It removes orange/bronze colors. It helped my mom A LOT.

You could try to bleach it, but DON'T do it more than once in a few weeks. Your hail will fall out =X

Orange hair!!!!?

Lots of peroxide! Try it.

Orange hair!!!!?

It looks like you have no other option. When dying your hair a different color most of the time [stylists] will take your original color out or bleach it if it's darker than what you are dying it. You will not reach the true color you want without bleaching [don't use conventional bleach] it. It looks like this may be something you need to go to a salon for. Remember when going blonde don't go for "ash" colors because they will eventually turn out with a slightly green appearance. Best of Luck!

Orange hair!!!!?

NO U CAN'T YOUR HAIR IS GOING TO GET MESSED UP THE ONLY CHOICE YOU HAVE IS TO WAIT AND GET IT DONE IN ABOUT A WEEK OR SO MAYBE AFTER A FEW SHAMPOOS THE COLOR WILL CHANGE IT HAPPENS TO ME I DIED MY HAIR RED AND IT ALWAYS TURNS INTO ORANGE REDDDISH COLOR OR EVEN LIGHT BLONDE A MIXTURE OF DIFFERENT COLORS BUT IT DOES NOT LOOK BAD CO WORKERS COMPLIMENT MY COLOR

Orange hair!!!!?

to get rid of that orange red tones you wanna put a color in your hair with a green base color as like a ash....Dont use box color b/c if you do it contins metal salts....Depending how blonde your hair is you may need a filler to add to your hair before you color it...go to a beauty supply house and tell them what your doing and they will be able to direct you in which color you would need if you get a filled dont get the ash in the filler if you put the ash on frist it will turn your hair green.....But you may before you try all of what i tolded you is to find a toner

Orange hair!!!!?

I had this same problem. Next time buy a tube called red/gold tone is a little purple liquid you add to the coloring this prevent turning orange.

Orange hair!!!!?

i have orange hair to

Orange hair!!!!?

i have orange hair and i love it! i get compliments on it all the time but mines natural so im not sure how much different yours looks from mine

Is a light or lighter shade of brown hair considered brunette?

There seems to be quite a bit of controversy as to whether a person with a light or lighter shade of brown hair is really a brunette or not. I think that brunette can probably apply to any shade of brown hair(esp. dark-brown) as well as black hair, or (at least) almost any shade brown, except for maybe a really light shade of brown hair which may actually be refered to as blond. Brunette seems to be more associated with having dark-brown or black hair, especially dark brown hair. I think medium brown hair should be able to be considered brunette because some dictionaries define brunette as having dark or relatively dark hair and medium brown hair is definitely relatively dark hair, but whether light brown hair is dark or relatively dark hair is probably more of a opinion. So, what does everyone think?

Is a light or lighter shade of brown hair considered brunette?

Since brunette comes from the French word for brown, I have always considered all shades of brown to be included in the definition. There is of course that nebulous area of "dirty blond" that could go either way. I actually have a little trouble calling those with black hair brunettes, because black is not brown, but we don't really have another word for them. This whole hair-color thing is basically a Caucasian issue, since we're the only ones with so much natural variation in hair color.

Is a light or lighter shade of brown hair considered brunette?

Any shade of brown is brunette.

Good Luck

Jimmy

Is a light or lighter shade of brown hair considered brunette?

Sweetie? If it doesn't look yellow? It's brunette! LOL!

Is a light or lighter shade of brown hair considered brunette?

BRUNETTES ARE ALWAYS LIGHTER FROM TOP AND HEAVY FROM BOTTOM...

Is a light or lighter shade of brown hair considered brunette?

i think any shade of brown is considered a burnette weather it be a light brown or a dark brown

Is a light or lighter shade of brown hair considered brunette?

Brunette is actually any shade of brown from lt. brown to deep brown. Black is not considered to be brunette. I have brunette hair (although I call it "otter-coloured") that was very light when I was younger and is now trending darker with a well endowed silvery undercoat. Dictionaries are excellent things but colours usually go on personal choice.

I have thick thick thick curly curly curly hair i hate it! Help!?

ok im a guy first off.

I have medium length hair and DREAM of having hair like Adam Grontier but sadly i have THICK and i mean THICK CURLY hair. I don't know how or what to use to straighten my hair so i wake up every morning and wet and comb my hair straight and put on a beanie and it gives me straight hat hair when i wake up, then i just mess it up and it looks straight(lol). But once i sweat or it gets moved around too much it curls!! I considered cutting it short but all the girls i know tell me not to cut it, they say i look better with long hair!?! j/w but is it weird for a guy to straighten his hair?? PLEASE HELP!!!

I have thick thick thick curly curly curly hair i hate it! Help!?

it's kind of common nowadays for guys to straighten their hair.

if you REALLY hate it, go to a salon to have it thinned and relaxed..

but to be honest, curly hair on guys is ridiculously sexy. that's probably why the ladies are telling you not to cut it.

I have thick thick thick curly curly curly hair i hate it! Help!?

I too have curly hair. For years I hated it. Tried all sorts of products, and even tried ironing it with an iron . Don't do that. But finally, I found a great hair dresser who knew how to cut curly hair. Curly hair is tricky to cut. But if it is cut properly, It will lay perfect and all you have to do is wash it and let it dry. A little moose or gel and it stays in place. Try to find someone who really knows what they are doing. The best way to find someone is to see someone who looks good or great and has curly hair, and ask who cuts their hair. Believe me with the right cut you will love your hair.

I have thick thick thick curly curly curly hair i hate it! Help!?

First off, it's not weird for guys to straighten their hair, who says straighting is just for girls? If my hair's not cooperating, I straighten it.

And as for your hair, you have two ways to go, impress the ladies, or impress yourself. Personally I'd go with myself because the ladies will have to get use to it.

Try to get some straighting shampoo (sunsilk, garnier w/e), use it in the morning when you have a shower. Dry your hair and use a straighting iron on your hair. It's more then likely when you straightien it, it'll have waves because of your thick curls. So, you can either keep it the way it is, Straighten it and have it with some wave, or cut it like you said.

Hope I helped some :).

I have thick thick thick curly curly curly hair i hate it! Help!?

You can do two things:

1. Straighten it. You will need to go to a salon and have them give you a chemical relaxer (which lasts several weeks) or buy a flat iron and straighten your hair every couple of day (or everyday, if you wash it everyday). I can say as a former straightener, that relaxers are no fun!

2. Learn to like your curly hair and make it look nice. Curly hair and straight hair have to be treated differently most of the time, so you need to do some research on what makes curly hair look good. Most of the books are probably going to be directed at women, but the general hair care tips are good for boys and girls. I linked to a good one below, but check your library for more stuff.

The above poster is right. Curly hair on boys is dead sexy, which is why the curls don't want you to cut it. Learn how to make it work for you!

I have thick thick thick curly curly curly hair i hate it! Help!?

i srry can't help you with that probelm

but serioulsy guys should really not straighten their hair lol

ummm yea can't help

but i think you can try to get your hair thinned by going to the salon somethin like that..

idk

Semi-Permanent Hair DYE Question!?

I currently have medium blonde hair with natural blonde hightlights. My hair is usually a little darker than this, but I used a product called sun-in to make it lighter. Now my hair is medium blonde but it kind of has an orangey tint to it. Can I use a semi-permanent hair dye like Clairol Natural Instincts to make my hair blonder and not so orange? And once the dye fades away, will it totally go back to my original color or my lighter color from the sun-in product?

Semi-Permanent Hair DYE Question!?

Well to be honest,

You would be waaaay better off going to the hairdressers if you want your hair lighter,

because, and trust me because i dye my hair LOADS,

If you try to dye your hair lighter at home, even if it's just a shade lighter, it usually goes wrong.

Just go to the hairdressers, it shouldn't cost much and it will definitely look good %26amp; you can get a trim or whatever too =]

xo

Semi-Permanent Hair DYE Question!?

The sun-in products usually contain hydrogen peroxide. This will permanently bleach your hair and will turn it orange....it will never return to your natural color. You would need to cut/grow it out.

If you want to dye your hair lighter, definitely go to the hair dresser/salon...they will be able to fix your problem and it will actually look blond and not orange!

Semi-Permanent Hair DYE Question!?

You can't lighten hair with a temporary or semi-permanent hair dye, because it requires bleaching.

Once dye fades out, it goes back to the color that you applied it to, which would be the lightened color, unless it leaves some staining.
