My dyed dark hair has faded ...?

my hair is naturally a medium brown colour, but in summer i started using sun in to lighten it. i didnt particularly like the blondish colour it gave me, but i continued using it anyway as my roots were comming in. one day i decided i was fed up with having to do sun in to my roots, so i dyed my hair medium brown. at first, it looked jet black, but faded to a nicer colour after a few days. now, about a month later, it is a normal colour at the roots, but has gone strange, lighter brown where it had previously been sun-ined. do you think i should dye it again myself or go to a hairdresser? will this continue to be a problem? i just want to go back to my natural colour. i think sun in contains some bleach, so that is probably why its still in my hair.

Go to your hair dresser and he/she can dye it for you and give you some subtle highlights for a more natural look. Don't forget to get some shampoo and a good conditioner for color-treated hair. Good luck!

sun in deffinitly contains a bleach. it's like dying you hair w/ peroxide. I would most deffinitly go to a hair dresser to get it dyed, they have better colors that stay in longer and they know exactly how to put it in to you hair so that it is even. Also buy some color treated shampoo and conditoner for you showers so that your color will stay in longer. Once you lighten or dye you hair it is always hard to get it back to your origional color. But deffinitly go to a hair dresser and get ti done.

Oh.. Haircolor problems... ;) Go to a hairdresser - he/she will know what to do and you will look great ;) Just don't do anything at home! Believe me - I have done lots of stupid things with hair coloring at home, and only a good hairdresser made my hair look amazing ;) So, trust hairdressers ;) Good luck!
