I have really thick and medium length hair. I really don't know how to do hair. I want my hair to look good but I also want it to be cheap. How can I style my hair?

First thing to do is get a cut that suits your face. Then ask the person who did the cut to suggest ways to maintain your cut and style until the next cut. Just simple wet sets with rollers are the most flexible way to enhance the style and cheapest also. Setting your hair can be used as a meditation time or a way to bond with a friend.

I have the same type of hair. I get my chemically straightened so it will lay down nicely, and have it all one length and textured on the ends. It's a versatile cut and I can curl it or whatever. Having it straightened gives me a nice polished look and take tons of stress off. Now every day is a good hair day.

Don't rely on fancy hairdo's to make you "look good." I throw mine up in a ponytail every day, and I think it suits me much better than curling or straightening it.
